If you’ve received a “Widget and Section Limit Reached” popup while customizing your Debutify Theme, don’t worry—this just means you’ve hit the maximum number of widgets and/or sections allowed by your current plan.

This limit is in place to ensure optimal performance and maintain a smooth editing experience within the Shopify theme editor.

Widget & Section Limits by Plan

Here’s a breakdown of how many widgets or paid sections can be enabled at once on each plan:

  • Growth Plan: Up to 10 widgets and/or sections

  • Professional Plan: Up to 40 widgets and/or sections

  • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited widgets and sections

How to Fix the Issue

To continue customizing your theme, you’ll need to disable one or more active widgets or sections before enabling new ones.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin > Online Store > Themes

  2. Click Customize on your active Debutify theme

  3. In the theme editor, click on Theme Settings

  4. Navigate to Paid Widgets or Paid Sections

  5. Locate a widget or section you no longer need and disable it

  6. Once space is freed, you can enable the new widget or section you’d like to use

💡 You can always re-enable a widget or section later if you change your mind.

Final Tips

  • Try to prioritize the most essential widgets and sections based on your store’s needs.

  • If you frequently hit the limit, consider upgrading your plan for more flexibility:

    • Growth → Professional for more space

    • Professional → Enterprise for unlimited customization
