What does the Newsletter Pop-up add-on do?

Adding newsletters is an excellent way to build and grow an email list of customers. Newsletters allow store owners to engage with subscribers to reduce cart abandonment, send special offers and discounts while learning more about them, based on their spending or responses.

When setting up the pop-up, remember to add a convincing reason to join the newsletter e.g. offers exclusive to members.

NOTICE: In Debutify 4.6.0 we made it easier to change the language of the Newsletter add-on.

How to Enable the Newsletter Pop-up Add-On

STEP 1

Go to your Shopify Admin, select Online Store.

STEP 2

Select your Debutify Shopify theme and click on Customize.

STEP 3

Hit Theme Settings.

STEP 4

Go to Debutify Add-Ons.

STEP 5

Tick Newsletter pop-up to enable the add-on.

STEP 6

Click on Save to confirm changes.


Manage Newsletter pop-up settings

Go to Theme Settings and click on Newsletter pop-up.


Managing Trigger Settings

If you tick Enable time-based trigger, the newsletter will appear after your preferred trigger timeout.

In the image below, the newsletter will become visible after 8 seconds.

If you uncheck Enable time-based trigger, exit-intent will be activated. When the user is going to exit your website, the newsletter will pop on the screen.

Click on Save to confirm changes.


Capturing the Email addresses of Customers

To see a list of subscribers to your newsletter, go to Shopify admin, and select Customers.

Under the Customers section, you will see the most recent customer who subscribed to your newsletter.
