What is a Cart Upsell Widget?

The Cart Upsell widget is a powerful tool that allows you to upsell or cross-sell products directly from the cart page. This feature is available for all products and can greatly enhance the customer experience, increase sales, and build stronger relationships with your clients.

The Cart Upsell widget is a simple and effective way to offer additional products to your customers while they are in the process of checking out. Once a customer adds a product to their cart, the widget will appear, displaying a selection of related or complementary products that they may be interested in purchasing.

Upselling is a sales technique that involves offering customers a higher-end or more expensive version of the product they are currently interested in. This can be a great way to increase the average order value and boost your overall sales. Additionally, upselling can also improve the customer experience by providing them with more options and potentially better products.

The enablement or disablement of widgets depends on the version of your Debutify Theme. Please follow the correct guide based on your theme version:

STEP 1

Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.

STEP 2

Click on the Theme settings icon.

STEP 3

Scroll down and locate the Debutify Widgets tabs. You’ll find the following categories:

Expand the relevant widget category by clicking on the arrow next to the tab name.

To enable a widget, check the box next to the widget name. To disable it, simply uncheck the box.

Sign in to your Debutify Theme Login Portal at platform.debutify.com, and navigate to the Widgets section.

STEP 2

Choose your widget from the Widgets menu, either by searching or filtering by category.

To enable or disable your chosen widget, click on the toggle switch.

Go to your Shopify Admin, and select Online Store.

STEP 2

On the right portion of the page, click on Customize.

STEP 3

Go to Home page > Addons group > Cart Upsell, then click Add block.

STEP 4

After clicking add block, choose whether general upsell or specific upsell.

For general upsell, click on Select product to add products to the cart upsell and click on the select button.

For specific upsell, click on Select product to add product trigger and product offer and click on the select button.

STEP 6

Click on Save to apply changes.

Once the customer has clicked the Add to Cart button, the items in your cart upsell will be shown on the lower portion of the cart page, just above the Checkout button.
