How to Enable the Instagram Feed Widget?

STEP 1

Log in via https://debutify.com/login/. On your Debutify Theme log-in portal, go to add-ons.

On the Add-ons menu, select the widget you want to activate. Look for your preferred widget via the search bar or by filtering by category.

STEP 2

To enable/ disable the widget, click on the toggle switch.

STEP 3

A confirmation message appears to verify if you want to enable/disable a widget. If you wish to proceed, click Enable/ Disable.

However, if your selected widget is unavailable in your subscribed plan, you will see this message asking you to upgrade your plan to unlock the widget.

To proceed with the Upgrade, click Upgrade. Otherwise, click Cancel.


How to Link Instagram to Your Store?

STEP 1

Go to developers.facebook.com. If you don't have an account, click 'Get Started/Log in.'

If you do have an account, click My Apps.

STEP 2

Click on Create App.

STEP 3

You will be redirected to a page, asking you 'What do you want your app to do?" Choose Other and click Next.

Select Consumer as the app type.

Select Consumer as the app type.

Then, add an app name. The name can be whatever you want, and you can change it later in settings.

STEP 4

Find Instagram Basic Display and click on Set Up.

STEP 5

On the App settings page, select Basic, and then click on "+ Add platform."

Then, select Website and add site URL.

STEP 6

To get the access token, go to Basic Display, then click Create New App.

In the form that appears, follow the guidelines to complete each section: The Display name

Enter your website’s URL for the Valid OAuth Redirect URL, Deauthorize Callback URL

and Data Deletion Request Callback URL. (The URL should contain HTTPS.)

Under User token generator, click on the add or remove Instagram testers button.

STEP 7

Once you have accessed App Roles, go to Roles and click on Add People.

Assign a role, select 'Instagram tester' and find the user of the Instagram account you want to add (The Instagram profile that you want to be displayed on your store.)

On the listed users, go to the account you invited and click on 'Apps and Websites.'

STEP 8

You will redirected to Instagram to log in to the Instagram account you added as the Instagram tester.

On the Apps and Websites section, click on Tester Invites and accept the app you just created on Facebook's developers.

STEP 9

Go back to Facebook's developer > Instagram Basic Display > Basic Display and under User Token Generator, the Instagram profile will now be listed.

Click on Generate token. For this option to work, the account must be public, and cannot be private.

STEP 10
After clicking on 'Generate token', you will be prompted to log in to your Instagram account again.

They will request you to allow Instagram to use cookies and similar technologies on other apps and websites, select 'Allow'.

A message that the 'app name' would like to receive the following information about the account, click Allow.

STEP 11

After accepting the regularities, a new pop-up will appear with the token code, make sure to check 'I Understand' to allow full access to the code. Copy the code.

Step 12

Paste it to the Instagram Feed add-on settings

STEP 13

Click Save.


How to Add the Instagram Feed Widget to Your Page?

STEP 1

Go back to the Home page, then template, and make sure the Instagram Feed block is there. Click on Add section, then Instagram Feed.

STEP 2

Paste the Token from Instagram Basic Display in the Access Token field.

STEP 3

Click Save to apply changes.
