Why Add a Product Recommendation Section?
The Product recommendation section displays an automatically generated view of recommended products on the product page of your Shopify store. It is one of the page sections you can add to enhance the shopping experience.
This makes it easier for customers to discover new products, which can increase sales. A great alternative to relying on customers using the search feature or collection filters.
How to Add Product Recommendations?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Go to the Top Bar, and click on the Template picker.
Click Products, then Default Product.
STEP 3
Scroll to Templates, and click on Product Recommendations.
STEP 4
Check the box to show on desktop and show on mobile to enable the product recommendations.
STEP 5
You can edit the following:
Heading - displays a title above the recommended products.
Subheading - displays the text under the section heading.
Section style - choose a blank, accent, or border-top background.
STEP 6
Set the product limit.
STEP 7
Choose how many products per row on desktop or mobile.
STEP 8
There are slider options to animate the section. Check the box to enable the feature.
STEP 9
Click Save to apply the changes.
