When to use the Custom Code Section
Adding a custom code section allows you to add features that are not already included in Debutify Shopify themes. Like other sections, you can add, remove and edit using the updated theme editor, you can add custom code in the Custom Code section, without directly editing your theme code. Make sure you copy the theme settings when updating your Debutify Shopify theme.
TIP: The Custom Code blocks are laid out in columns. Changing the column width will affect the layout of the blocks. You can add up to 9 blocks.
How to Use the Custom Code Section
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, click on Themes.
STEP 2
Select your Debutify Shopify theme and click Customize.
STEP 3
Click on Custom Code or click on Add section to add the Custom Code section.
STEP 4
Decide on where (option to show on desktop, mobile, or both) or how (full width or not) to display the section on the page. You can also see the option to add padding, choose section style, and wrapper size.
Section style - allows you to choose either a blank, accent, or border-top background.
Wrapper size - choose either default, fluid, or full
STEP 5
Click on Custom Code to add a block to the section. This section allows for up to 9 blocks.
STEP 6
Click on the Custom Code block to add the HTML code or iFrame, set the column width, and set the text alignment to either the left, center, or right.
STEP 7
Click Save to apply the changes.
