Creating your own page templates allows for greater flexibility in the design and layout of your online store. An opportunity to create a unique look and feel, just by dragging and dropping sections to the page. Also, creating your own templates can help to improve the user experience by making it easier for visitors to navigate your site.

Once the page is published, make sure to assign the page in Shopify admin.

STEP 1

In Shopify admin, click on Online store.

STEP 2

Select your theme and click customize.

STEP 3

You can just select the type of page you want to create a template for. Templates can only be created for Products, Collections, Pages, and Blogs.

STEP 4

Click on Create Template.

STEP 5

Add a name for the template and click Create Template.

In Shopify Admin, click on Products.

STEP 2

Select or Add a Product.

STEP 3

Scroll to the Online Store Section to select a theme template.

STEP 4

Click Save to apply the changes.
