What Is the Trust Badge Section?
The Trust Badge is a feature that allows you to display trust badges on your website. These badges are visual symbols or logos that indicate your site is secure and trustworthy. By showcasing these badges prominently, you provide reassurance to potential customers, making them feel confident that their sensitive information is protected.
How to Enable the Trust Badge Widget?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Click on the Theme settings icon.
STEP 3
Open the⚡Paid widgets tab if you’re using versions 8.0–8.4, or open the 🎁Free Widgets tab if you’re on version 8.5.
How to Set Up the Trust Badge?
STEP 1
Go to Sections, open the Debutify Widgets section, and locate the Trust Badge block.
STEP 2
Click the Trust Badge to open its general settings. Here, you can edit the heading, subheading, and information text below the badges, adjust the sizes, and upload an image to display.
Note: Uploading an image here will replace the payment icons.
Types of Trust Badges
You can choose between two layouts: Payment Icons or Icon Blocks.
How to Switch Between Them
STEP 1
Navigate to the Product page in your theme editor.
STEP 2
Locate and expand the Product Information section.
STEP 3
Find the Trust Badge block. If it’s not visible, add it as a block.
STEP 4
In the block settings, change the Layout to either Icon Block Columns or Payment
Options.
Payment Icons
STEP 1
Go to the Sections icon of the theme editor and open the Debutify Widgets section.
STEP 2
Expand the Trust Badge and click the Payment Icons block. Here, you can adjust the width of the icons.
STEP 3 (Optional)
To add custom icons, expand the Payment Icons and add a new block with your desired icon/image.
Icon Blocks
STEP 1
Go to the Sections icon of the theme editor and open the Debutify Widgets section.
STEP 2
Expand the Trust Badge and click the Icon Blocks. Here, you can edit block customizations and slider settings.
STEP 3
Expand the Icon Blocks to add new blocks and upload the images you want to appear (e.g., Secure Payment, Shipping Guaranteed).
