How to Add an Image for the Banner?
STEP 1
Go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard, and select Products.
STEP 2
Under Products, click on Collections.
Click on the Collection that you intend to edit.
STEP 3
Scroll the page down and hit the Add Image button, to insert your desired banner image.
TIP: Because the size and shape of the slideshow or header depend on the size and shape of the customer's device, your slideshow images will be cropped on some screens. Try to use images that have a focal point in the middle so that the important part of each image is always visible.
Recommended size: 3840 x 2160 px
STEP 4
Tap Save to apply changes.
How to View the Collection Banner?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Go to your Top Bar, then go to the template picker.
Select a Collection, then click default collection.
STEP 3
Scroll down to the Templates section, and ensure the Collection Banner it is set to visible.
The image is the banner or header section on the collections page.
