In comparison with other social media sites, more than 55% utilize Facebook for sharing content with everyone. 67% of Facebook users view business pages an average of once a week. Using a Facebook messenger chat serves to be the fastest and easiest method to reach for customer service support.
Activate Facebook messenger chat widget
STEP 1. Go to your Shopify Admin, select Online Store.
STEP 2. On the right portion of the page, click on Customize.
STEP 3. Tap Theme Settings.
STEP 4. Go to Debutify Add-ons.
STEP 5. Tick Facebook messenger to activate this add-on.
STEP 6. Click on Save to apply changes.
Copy Facebook Messenger code into your Debutify 3.0 Shopify theme
STEP 1. Log into your Facebook and go to the Manage Page section. Hit Settings.
STEP 2. Under Page Settings, navigate to Messaging and tap the Get Started button in the Add Messenger to your website section.
STEP 3. Tap Next.
STEP 4. Scroll down to the bottom part of your Set up Chat Plugin page and select 4.
STEP 5. Hover your mouse to the Code Snippet section and tap Copy Code to Clipboard.

STEP 6. Go to Theme Settings and tap Facebook Messenger.
STEP 7. Paste the Facebook messenger code inside the Code field.
STEP 8. Copy your website domain and paste it on the Website Domain field of your Set Up Chat Plugin section in your Facebook account.
STEP 9. Click on Save to add the chat plugin to your website domain and hover your mouse to the lower right section of the page and tap Finish.
STEP 10. Go back to your Facebook Messenger section in Debutify and tap Save to apply changes.
After saving, your Facebook messenger chat widget will automatically appear on your webpage.
