What does the Facebook Messenger Chat Widget do?
The Facebook Messenger Chat Widget allows you to connect Facebook Messenger to your store. The Messenger chat is the fastest and easiest method for customers to reach your business.
The conversations are saved in Messenger if the customer is logged in to their Facebook account. If not logged in, customers can send messages as guest users.

How to Enable the Facebook Messenger Chat Widget
STEP 1
In Shopify Admin, select Online Store.
STEP 2
Select your Debutify Shopify theme and click on Customize.
STEP 3
Click on the Theme Settings icon.
STEP 4
Click on Debutify Add-Ons.
STEP 5
Tick Facebook messenger to enable the add-on.
STEP 6
Click Save to apply the changes.

STEP 1
On a separate tab in your web browser, log in to your Facebook Business page and click on Manage.

Click on Inbox.
STEP 3
Click on the Settings icon.

Click on View all settings.

Click Chat Plugin.

Click Set up.

Click on Shopify.

Set the language and click Save and continue.

Add your Store URL and click Save and continue.

Copy the code snippet.

In the Shopify admin tab, click on Facebook Messenger (steps 1 to 3 of the previous section)

Paste the Chat code snippet from the Facebook tab.
