What Does the Split Description Feature Do?
The split description feature allows you to divide the product description into two parts: one part within the product information and another part as a separate section below the product information.
To use this feature, enable it and add the shortcode [split_description] to your product description. This will create a split view, enhancing the way product details are presented.
How to Split the Product Description?
STEP 1
Go to your Shopify Admin Dashboard, and select Products to show all the products in your Shopify store.
STEP 2
Select a product from the list to open its settings.
STEP 3
Add the [split_description] shortcode where you would like to split the paragraph.

Click Save to apply the changes.
How to Enable the Split Description Feature?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Go to the Top Bar, and click on the Template picker.
Click Products, then Default Product.
STEP 3
Scroll to Templates, and open the Product Page section.
Click on the Description block and check the Enable split description option.
STEP 4
Click Save to apply the changes.
