Using custom tag(s) helps you track newsletter subscribers and whether they are signing up from the newsletter section, footer, or pop-up newsletter forms. This can also be used to segment customers making it easier to create marketing campaigns or send emails using apps such as SMSBump or Omnisend.

STEP 1

In Shopify admin, under Online store, click on Themes.

STEP 2

Select your Debutify Shopify theme (4.2.0 or later versions) and click on Customize.

STEP 3

Click on Newsletter to reveal the settings.

STEP 4

In the Newsletter section settings, add custom tag(s) to help you identify/segment newsletter subscribers.

Click on Footer, then on the Newsletter block to reveal the settings.

STEP 6

Add custom tag(s) to help you identify/segment newsletter subscribers.

Click Save to apply changes.
