Compare At Price Not Appearing
The Compare At Price feature allows customers to see the original price of a product alongside its sale price, highlighting potential savings. If this feature is not displaying as expected, there are a few possible reasons. Below, we outline three scenarios and provide steps to resolve each issue.
Check If Compare-At Price Visibility Is Enabled for All Regions
For businesses operating in the European Economic Area (EEA), Shopify provides an option to hide Compare At Prices to comply with regional regulations. If this setting is enabled, the Compare At Price will not appear for EEA customers.
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, click on Settings.
STEP 2
Click on Markets.
STEP 3
Click on Preferences.
STEP 4
Uncheck "Hide compare-at prices for European Economic Area (EEA) customers".
STEP 5
Click Save to apply the changes.
Check If Any Market Uses Fixed Pricing
STEP 1
Go to your Shopify admin and click on Settings.
STEP 2
Select Markets.
STEP 3
Click on the specific market you are troubleshooting.
STEP 4
Go to Products and Pricing.
STEP 5
Check if the prices have a fixed price. If they do, the Compare At Price will not show. If you are unsure whether a price is fixed, look for the text "Fixed price" below the product listing.
Confirm the Variant Picker Block Is Properly Set Up
The Compare At Price feature requires the variant picker block to be enabled in your theme editor. Without this block, prices associated with variants may not display correctly.
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
On the top menu, select Product pages from the drop-down list.
STEP 3
Scroll down to the Template section and locate the Product Page section.
โ
STEP 4
Within the product page settings, ensure the Variant Picker block is present and visible.
