Cart Page/Drawer Not Opening

If you're experiencing issues with your cart page, modal, or drawer not opening, here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Cart Notification Widget Enabled

The cart page, modal, or drawer will not open if the Cart Notification widget is enabled.

This widget is designed to retain users on the product, collection, or home page instead of redirecting them to the cart immediately after adding items.

If you notice a small notification at the bottom of the page when adding items to your cart, it indicates that the cart notification is enabled. To disable this feature, please navigate to your Debutify portal, go to the Add-ons section, and disable the widget.

Skip Cart Widget Enabled

If you find yourself redirected straight to checkout after adding items to the cart without the cart opening, the Skip Cart Widget might be active. This feature is tailored for direct sales, bypassing the cart page altogether. The Skip Cart Widget streamlines the checkout process, fostering impulse purchases. To disable this feature, please navigate to your Debutify portal, go to the Add-ons section, and disable the widget.

Check for Third Party Apps

If both the Cart Notification Widget and Skip Cart Add-on are disabled, yet the cart page or drawer remains dysfunctional, inspect for Third Party Variant Apps.

Variant apps often possess settings that override the theme's default Add to Cart action, potentially disrupting cart page functionality.

Notable variant apps include:

  • Globo Product Option

  • King Product Options & Variant

  • Variant Option Product Options, etc.

Review and adjust the settings of these apps as needed to prevent conflicts with the theme's functionality.
