How to Customize the Footer?

STEP 1

Go to your Shopify Admin, and select Online Store. Select your Debutify Shopify theme, and click on Customize.

STEP 2

Scroll down to the Footer group; all footer settings will be located here.

STEP 3

Check the box to display social media icons in the footer.

STEP 4

Go to Position of icons, and choose the position for the social media icons. Choose from options such as Left, or Right.

Note: If the Show social media icons checkbox is unchecked, this setting controls the policy links' position.

STEP 5

Go to Heading to add a heading text.

STEP 6

Check the box to display policy links in the footer.

STEP 7

Go to Color scheme and click Change to choose your preferred colors from the dropdown options provided.

Note: To completely change all the colors in your theme, navigate to the Theme Settings and then select Colors, and customize a color scheme to your preference.

These color schemes can be applied to various sections across your online store, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing design.

STEP 8

Click on the triangle next to Footer to reveal the block(s).

STEP 9

Click on About Us/Store details block, and enter a Block name—this is for internal identification only and will not be seen by your customers.

STEP 10

Go to Column width to adjust the column width using the slider.

STEP 11

Go to Heading, Subheading, and Text to add a heading, subheading, and body text.

STEP 12

Go to Logo and click Select Image to upload an image from your library or explore Shopify's collection of free images.

STEP 13

Go to Link to add a link to the logo to redirect users to a specific page when clicked.

STEP 14

Go to Width to adjust the width of the logo image.

STEP 15

Check the boxes to show email address, phone number, location, and fax number.

STEP 16

Go to Fax number to add your fax number.

STEP 17

Check the box to Show social media icons.

STEP 18

Click on Quick links/Menu block, and enter a Block name—this is for internal identification only and will not be seen by your customers.

STEP 19

Go to Column width to adjust the column width using the slider.

STEP 20

Go to Heading and Subheading to add a heading and subheading text.

STEP 21

Go to Menu to add a menu on the footer.

STEP 22

Click on Newsletter block, and enter a Block name—this is for internal identification only and will not be seen by your customers.

STEP 23

Go to Column width to adjust the column width using the slider.

STEP 24

Go to Heading and Subheading to add a heading and subheading text.

STEP 25

Check the boxes if you want to Show name field and Enable opt-in checkbox.

STEP 26

Go to Customer tag to add a tag that will be added to the customer and can be used to trigger email automation.


STEP 27

Click Add block if you wish to add more blocks to the footer.

STEP 28

Click Save to apply the changes.


How to Add Social Media Links on the Footer?

STEP 1

Navigate to the Footer section and check Show Social Media Icons.

STEP 2

Scroll down to Theme Settings, locate Advanced settings, and add links for your brand's social media accounts:

  • Facebook

  • Pinterest

  • Instagram

  • Tumblr

  • YouTube

  • Vimeo

  • Snapchat

  • WhatsApp

  • Telegram

  • TikTok

  • LinkedIn

  • Reddit

  • Messenger

Ensure each link is correctly entered to effectively connect your audience across platforms.

STEP 3

Click Save to apply the changes.


How to Add Custom Payment Icons on the Footer?

STEP 1

Navigate to the Search block and check Show Payment Icons.

STEP 2

Scroll down to Theme Settings, locate Advanced Settings, and click Select Image to upload an image from your library or explore Shopify's collection of free images.

STEP 3

Click Save to apply the changes.
