Debutify's Custom App relies on the permissions granted within the Admin API access scopes to function correctly. Each permission grants the app access to specific areas of your Shopify store, and these permissions are crucial based on the features you're attempting to use.

If you encounter permission-related errors when navigating within the app, it’s likely due to insufficient access scopes being enabled.

How to Enable the Custom App's Permissions

STEP 1

In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings and select Apps and sales channels.

Step 2

Click on Develop apps, find the Debutify Custom App, and click on it.

STEP 3

Review the Admin API Access Scopes.

  • If you're on the Overview section, click on Admin API integration.

  • If you're in the Configuration section, click the Edit button next to Admin API integration.

You will see a list of permissions with the option to filter by All permissions or Selected permissions.

STEP 4

Ensure that the required permissions are selected based on the features you need. Refer to the list below to confirm which permissions are necessary.

STEP 5

Once the correct permissions are selected, click Save to update the settings.
