The "strike-line" or "strike-through" on a sale price (also known as a "strikethrough price" or "original price") indicates a reduced price on a product.
Without a strike line, you are presenting the sale price as the only price, which can be seen as more honest and transparent as some customers may be skeptical of inflated original prices used to make discounts seem more significant.
After uninstalling some of the external/third-party currency converter apps, leave residual code and the strike-line isn't removed. The steps below will help you check and remove the strike line.
How to Remove Strike-Line from On-Sale Price
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, click on Settings.
STEP 2
Click on Change Formatting.
STEP 3
From HTML with currency, remove <span class="money"> and </span>.
STEP 4
From HTML without currency, remove <span class="money"> and </span>.
STEP 5
Click Save to apply the changes.
