Showcasing Collections
Adding a collection list section allows you to showcase collections on the home page. This is similar to creating a subcollection or showing the collection on the Collection Page.
You can change the layout and appearance of the collection list to make it easier for customers to find products.
TIP: On desktops and tablets, you can show up to six featured collections on your home page.
How to Add a Collection List
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, click on Themes.
STEP 2
Select your Debutify Shopify theme and click Customize.
STEP 3
Click on Sections.
STEP 4
Click on Collection List. Click on Add section to add the Collection List section.
STEP 5
Decide on where (desktop or mobile or both) or how (full width or columns) to display the section on the page.
Heading - Title for the section.
Subheading - Displays subheading text in the Collection List section
Section style - This allows you to choose different color options
Collection Height - This allows you to choose different height options
Footer - This displays a button giving the customer the option to view the entire collection list.
Button Label - the text will appear on the button linking the section to a URL or page in the store
Button Link - add a URL or link to a page in the store to which visitors will be directed
Button Style - this allows you to choose either the default, full, or outlined button style
STEP 6
Click on the triangle next to the Collection List to reveal the Collection block(s).
STEP 7
Click on Select Collection to add a collection to the section.
STEP 8
Choose an existing collection or click on Create collection to add a new collection to the section.
STEP 9
Edit and change the collection until you have decided, then click Save to apply the changes.
