Breadcrumbs are commonly used to help users understand their current location within the site's hierarchy. Used effectively, breadcrumbs can improve the user experience by making it easier for customers to navigate your online store and find the products they're looking for.
By including breadcrumbs on your site, you can reduce bounce rates, increase user engagement, and ultimately drive sales. When designing your breadcrumbs, make sure they're easy to read and understand, and ensure that they provide a clear path back to previous pages.
Breadcrumbs is a feature, turned add-on, that is free on all the Debutify plans.
How to Enable the Breadcrumbs Add-on
STEP 1
In Shopify admin, under Online Store, click on Themes.
STEP 2
Select a Debutify theme (version 5.0 or later) and click on Customize.
STEP 3
Click on the Theme Settings Icon.
STEP 4
Click on Debutify Free Add-ons.
STEP 5
Enable the Breadcrumbs add-on. (untick to disable)
STEP 6
Scroll further in Theme Settings and click on Breadcrumbs.
STEP 7
Update the settings for Breadcrumbs.
STEP 8
Click Save to apply the changes.
