How to Add New Sections to Your Homepage?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Go to Sections, scroll down to Templates, and click the Add section to show the available theme sections.
STEP 3
Choose a Theme section to add to the page. You can choose any of the following sections to display on your store page:
• Featured collection • Featured product • Rich text • Image with text • Slideshow • Newsletter • Video • Blog Posts • Collections list • Custom HTML • FAQ • Featured image • Featured review carousel • Gallery • Guarantee • Instagram feed • Logo list • Map • Pricing table • Recently viewed • Testimonials • Text columns with images
How to Remove Sections to Your Homepage?
STEP 1
Find the section on your page that you want to remove.
STEP 2
Option 1: Direct Removal from Page
Hover over the section name.
Click on the trash icon that appears next to the section name.
Confirm the deletion if prompted.
Option 2: Removal from Section Settings:
Alternatively, enter the section settings.
On the bottom, click on "Remove Section".
Confirm the deletion if prompted.
STEP 3
Click on Save to apply changes.
How to Reorder Sections on Your Homepage?
STEP 1
Find the section on your page that you want to reorder.
STEP 2
Drag and drop the section to reorder.
STEP 3
Click Save to apply the changes.
How to Customize Content Blocks?
STEP 1
Find the section on your page that you want to customize. In this example, we are using Gallery.
STEP 2
Click on the image block.
STEP 3
On the image settings, you can edit the following to customize:
Add block name (this is for internal identification).
To add image, click Select Image.
Or you can paste a link or search.
Choose the image alignment from the dropdown.
Don't forget to add captions.
How to Remove Content Blocks?
STEP 1
Find the section on your page where you want to remove a content block. In this example, we are using Gallery.
STEP 2
Option 1: Direct Removal from Page
Hover over the content block name.
Click on the trash icon that appears next to the section name.
Confirm the deletion if prompted.
Option 2: Removal from Content Block Settings:
Alternatively, enter the content block settings.
On the bottom, click on "Remove Block".
Confirm the deletion if prompted.
STEP 3
Click on Save to apply changes.
