How to Add the Recently Viewed Section?
STEP 1
Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.
STEP 2
Navigate to Templates, select the Add Section option, look up recently viewed, and click to add it.
How to Manage the Settings for the Recently Viewed Section?
STEP 1
Click the Recently Viewed section.
STEP 2
On the Section settings, you can edit the following:
Check the box for the following:
Show on desktop
Show on mobile
Choose a section style from the dropdown:
Blank background
Accent background
Border top
Choose a container size:
Default
Fluid
Add heading
Add subheading
STEP 3
Customize how it appears on the grid:
Products per row on the desktop
Products per row on mobile
STEP 4
Lastly, you can also manage the slider options:
Check the box to show/enable the following:
Enable slider
Show arrows
Show dots
Enable autoplay
You can also adjust the autoplay speed and products in a row.
STEP 5
Click Save to apply the changes.
