What is the Delivery Time Widget?

The Delivery Time widget serves as a valuable tool for effectively managing customer expectations regarding the arrival of their orders. This feature empowers sellers to establish minimum and maximum delivery periods for both general and specific products, providing customers with transparent insights into the anticipated arrival times of their orders.

Why Use the Delivery Time Widget?

The Delivery Time widget enhances customer experience by providing clear delivery information, improving communication, and managing expectations effectively. It streamlines order fulfillment, ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. By offering reliable delivery details, sellers gain a competitive advantage, fostering customer loyalty and retention.


How to Enable/Disable Delivery Time Widget?

The enablement or disablement of widgets depends on the version of your Debutify Theme. Please follow the correct guide based on your theme version:

How to Enable or Disable the Debutify Theme Widgets on versions 7.1 and above?

STEP 1

Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.

STEP 2

Click on the Theme settings icon.

Click on the Theme settings icon.

STEP 3

Scroll down and locate the Debutify Widgets tabs. You’ll find the following categories:

  • Debutify Free Widgets

  • Debutify Paid Widgets

Expand the relevant widget category by clicking on the arrow next to the tab name.

STEP 4

To enable a widget, check the box next to the widget name. To disable it, simply uncheck the box.

How to Enable or Disable the Debutify Theme Widgets between versions 6.0 and 7.0.2?

STEP 1

Sign in to your Debutify Theme Login Portal at platform.debutify.com, and navigate to the Widgets section.

STEP 2

Choose your widget from the Widgets menu, either by searching or filtering by category.

STEP 3

To enable or disable your chosen widget, click on the toggle switch.

STEP 4

  • To enable the widget, confirm by clicking Enable in the confirmation message that appears.

  • To disable the widget, confirm by clicking Disable in the confirmation message that appears.

Note: Enabling or disabling widgets on Debutify Login Portal is available only in Debutify Theme versions 6.0 to 7.0.2. Please make sure your theme is within this version range to access this feature.


How to Manage Delivery Time Settings?

STEP 1

Access your Shopify Admin's Theme Library to open the theme customizer.

STEP 2

Go to Section, scroll down to Addons group, and locate Delivery Time.

STEP 3

Click on the triangle next to Delivery time to reveal the block(s). Click Add Delivery time to add a block.

STEP 4

Click on Delivery time block, and enter a Block name—this is for internal identification only and will not be seen by your customers.


How to Set Delivery Zones for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Go to Region to enter continent name, or country code.

Continents: You can specify delivery zones based on continents. Choose from the following options: All, Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, South America.

Countries: If you want to target specific countries within a continent, use the Alpha-2 country code from the country codes list. This allows you to set up delivery zones tailored to individual countries for precise delivery time management.


How to Customize Delivery Time Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Go to Date format (text timer) and select your preferred text format. You can choose from these options below:

STEP 2

Go to Date format (visual timer) and select your preferred visual format. Choose from two options: Month Date or Date Month.

STEP 3

Go to Delivery Exclude Days to add excluded delivery days. Use the format 'MON, TUES'. Separate days with commas.


How to Customize Delivery Time Text Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Go to Delivery time text to add a text.

Note: {min} - minimum amount of days for delivery; {max} - maximum amount of days for delivery.

STEP 2

Check the box if you want to add icon before message.

STEP 3

Go to Icon to add your preferred icon. You can also click on the View all available icons link to select from the icon library.

STEP 4

Go to Text message style and select your preferred text style. Choose from two options: Only text or Text with background.


How to Customize General Delivery Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Adjust the slider to set the minimum and maximum delivery time in days. This will apply to all products unless specified otherwise in the visibility settings. For more information, click here.


How to Customize Delivery Cut-off Time Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Check the box if you want to show delivery cut-off.

STEP 2

Go to Countdown format and select your preferred countdown format. You can choose from the options below:

STEP 3

Go to Cut-off time to add a cut-off time. Enter numbers only (in 24-hour format - 16:00:00 means 4 PM) relative to the seller's timezone.

STEP 4

Go to Message to add a text message.

Note: {time} - cut-off time for delivery.

STEP 5

Go to Cut-off reached message to add text when the cut-off time is reached.


How to Customize Visual Time Display Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

Check the box to add visual time. This feature adds visual delivery information.

STEP 2

Go to Icon background style and select your preferred icon background style. Choose from two options: Square or Circle.

STEP 3

Add your preferred icons for the Order Placed, Order Dispatched, and Order Delivered stages. You can also click on the View all available icons link to select from the icon library.

STEP 4

Adjust the slider to set the dispatch and delivered days.


How to Customize Visibility Settings for Delivery Time?

STEP 1

You can also customize the visibility settings of the delivery time. Choose from collection-based, type-based, tag-based, and product-based options, or opt to display the bullets on all products across your website.

  • If collection-based: Go to Collection and choose the specific collection where you want the product bullet points to be visible.

  • If type-based: Go to Product types and add the product types, separating them with commas.

  • If tag-based: Go to Product tags and add the tags, separating them with commas.

  • If product-based: Go to Product and choose the specific product where you want the bullet points to be visible.


Final Step: Save Your Changes

After completing your customizations, click Save to apply the changes.
